Padel Success in National League

Congratulations to the Harbour Club Chelsea on becoming the first ever LTA Padel National League WOMEN’S CHAMPIONS. The team consisting of Amanda Elliott, Laura Robson, Catherine Rose, Iva Saric and Abigail Tordoff.

The women's event consisted of four clubs, including two Middlesex representatives: East Glos, Tennis World and Rock's Lane Padel. They competed in a Round Robin with all three teams playing three matches. Harbour Club Chelsea had convincing 4-0 wins against East Glos and Rock's Lane Padel. Catherine and Iva pulled off a convincing 6-0 6-0 win against Tennis World in pair 2. In Pair 1, Tennis World proved victorious with a 6-1 6-7 (4) 9-11 win however winning the middle set, gave Harbour Club Chelsea the overall win.

Well done to David Lloyd Bushey Park who won the Men's event. Rocks Lane and Harbour Club Chelsea also had teams competing in the Men's event both qualifying and losing in the Semi-finals stage.

LTA National League - Padel

The biggest padel team competition in Great Britain – the National League is one of the highlights of the season.

Men’s and women’s teams are broken down into two divisions – with the top ranked teams battling it out in Division 1. Anyone can enter a team of five players and will be placed in either division based on their entry.

Teams will compete for a place in the National Finals, where they stand the chance of being crowned the national champions.
