Mika Stojsavljevic - US Open Junior Girls Singles Champion

Middlesex Tennis is thrilled to see the progress Mika is making in our great sport.

Mika is now playing and training out of the LTA Performance Tennis Centre at Loughborough, but it was the setting of Ealing Tennis Club, in west London where Mika honed her skills and developed her game from the age of 8.

Mika has represented Middlesex Tennis at every LTA County Cup from age 8 to 14, and from a very young age she demonstrated the talent, grit, and fighting spirit which has been fully on display at this year's US Open. 

Our Tennis Manager - Andrew Lewandowski coached Mika for 6 years. Andrew fully oversaw her coaching and training programme over this time running training sessions each morning before school started four or five times per week!

From this time Andrew recalls: “

Mika showed great resolve towards her training, always being determined and above all wanting to compete. She was consistent in her approach and there was hardly a session missed!

And Andrew has high hopes for Mika going forwards -

I am so proud of Mika, and I see definite signs of more success to come in the future.
