Today, the LTA has officially announced the new 10U Performance Network, which will launch in September 2026.
As part of a wider review of the existing 10U Performance Programme model, they undertook an extensive consultation, application and interview process to ensure the future network is aligned to the evolving needs of the LTA Player Pathway and the players it is designed to support.
The 10U Performance Network is a strategically integral part of the Regional Performance Stage (aged 7-10) of the LTA Player Pathway, designed to increase the number and quality of players who are inspired, informed and ready to meet the demands of the National Performance Stage of the pathway (aged 11-14).
From September 2026, they will have thirty-two programmes across England and Wales. The network will comprise of 19 10U Performance Programmes – Enhanced (10U PP-E) and 13 10U Performance Programmes (10U PP)*
Middlesex Tennis is delighted to announce two of our County venues are part of the 19 10U Performance Programmes:
Middlesex Tennis Training Centre (Georgians Tennis Club & New River Leisure Centre)
Dukes Meadow
Whilst these programmes play a vital role in strengthening daily training environments at the Regional Stage of the Player Pathway, they represent just one part of a much wider player development ecosystem. Counties remain critical to the successful identification, support, and development of young players through county open days, county training, coach engagement, and local competition opportunities.
