12U & 18U Boys teams finish runners up
Super performances by 12U & 18U Boys teams from Ealing Lawn Tennis Club representing Middlesex in National League Finals.
Congratulations to Ealing Lawn Tennis Club, who proudly represented Middlesex at the National League Finals held at the National Tennis Centre on 18–19 July, following their regional title successes in both the 12U Boys and 18U Boys competitions.
Both teams made a flying start to the weekend with outstanding semi-final performances. The 12U Boys delivered an impressive 10–2 victory over Surbiton, while the 18U Boys mirrored that result with a commanding 10–2 win against Ashby Castle, securing their places in Sunday’s National Finals.
The finals presented two tough challenges against some of the country’s strongest junior clubs. The 12U Boys battled hard against Cultiv8, while the 18U Boys produced a determined display against the University of Bath. Although both teams ultimately finished as runners-up, they demonstrated tremendous skill, resilience and team spirit throughout the competition.
To finish second in the country is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work, commitment and talent of everyone involved.
Middlesex Tennis congratulates all the players, coaches, parents and supporters who contributed to such a successful National League campaign.
