WELCOME to the Middlesex Tennis County Championships 2026

Sunday 23rd – Sunday 30th August 2026 (see Event Calendar below).

Hazelwood Sports Club, Georgians Tennis Club, Vicars Moor LTC and Wood Vale Lawn Tennis Club.

The Middlesex-Surrey Disability events will take place during this week.

Learning Disability (26th August) & Para-standing (29th – 30th August) at Hazelwood Tennis Club.

Visually Impaired (23rd August) & Wheelchair (28th August) at AELTC Community Tennis Centre.

The Middlesex Padel County Championships will take place 19th – 20th September 2026 at Georgians Padel.

We have some big changes for 2026:

  • Our 8U and 9U events will be hosted at Georgians Tennis Club.
    • 8U – Thursday 27th August
    • 9U – Monday 24th & Tuesday 25th August
  • The tournament will be held in two parts with 11U/14U/18U/Senior events running Sunday 23rd to Wednesday 26th & 10U/12U/16U events running Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th August

The Tournament referee will be Willem Cooper.

8U and 9U Events

Our Mini events will take place at Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub, Pope’s Lane, W3 8LQ.

Thursday 28th August – 8U Red ball Singles and doubles from 11.30 am to 2.00pm

Monday 25th August – 9U Girls Singles and Doubles(and 9U Boys Singles qualifying if required)

Tuesday 26th August – 9U Boys Singles and Doubles

These events will take place between Sunday 24 August and Wednesday 27 August.

These events take place between 28th – 31st August.

Prize Money is available for these events.

In Partnership with Surrey Tennis, we host the following disability events: 

Wheelchair (Friday 29 August at All England Community Sports Grounds)

Visually Impaired (Wednesday 27 August at All England Community Sports Grounds)

Learning Disability (Wednesday 27 August at Hazelwood Sports Club)

Para-standing (30-31st August at Hazelwood Sports Club)

The Middlesex Padel County Championships will take place on Saturday 23 August (Open Men’s and Women’s doubles) and Saturday 30 August (Junior Events).

Entry for Junior events will reopen onsite Sunday 24 August to Thursday 28 August 6.00pm.

2025 COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Our 2025 event saw nearly 400 players compete across 42 events over the week led by Sangeeta Arora and Brenda Stewart and their team of officials. The event included our fun but competitive Mini tennis days for 8U Red ball and 9U Orange ball hosted at Vicars Moor LTC.

We teamed up with Surrey Tennis to deliver our joint wheelchair, Visually Impaired, Learning Disability and Para-standing competitions across the week making it a truly inclusive event for everyone.

We teamed up with Surrey Tennis to deliver our joint wheelchair, Visually Impaired, Learning Disability and for the first time ever – Para standing competitions across the week making it an event for everyone.
