The Middlesex County Closed is the highlight of Middlesex’s Competition Calendar and End of Year Celebration. Open to all Middlesex players with singles and doubles events offered in all age groups.

Prizes

  • Prize Money for Open Events - Winners and Runners Up.
    Singles Winner - £115
    Singles Runner Up - £70
    Doubles Winner - £150 per pair
    Doubles Runner Up - £60 per pair
  • 8U to 18U Singles Winners earn a place in the 2022-23 County Training programme (For players born 2005 onwards)
  • 12U Singles Winners earn a place in the Babolat Cup

Venue: Hazelwood Sports Club and Vicars Moor LTC

We are lucky to be supported by Hazelwood where the bulk of the tournament takes place and Vicars Moor who provide an excellent venue for our Mini Red and Mini Orange events. Many of the members can be seen playing in the County Champs and volunteering throughout the week.

Middlesex and Surrey Disability Events

Middlesex and Surrey Tennis host joint events in Learning Disability Tennis, Wheelchair Tennis and Visually Impaired Tennis. These events are open to all players and can be a first step into competitive tennis for many.
