2018 Summer Event

After a series of 10 events, 9 boys and 8 girls qualified for the Finals of the Babolat Middx Mini Masters 2018 at Paddington Recreation Grounds on Sunday 15th July.

In the girls draw, we had some close matches and the Girls Champion was Anoushka Dearing from Ealing LTC. In second place we had 3 girls tied on wins - Milada, Adrianna and Hannah.

The boys draw was again highly competitive with all players claiming at least 1 win. Elijah Kyeyune, Sports Hive Actonians and Adhiraj Dewan, David Lloyd Finchley both won 7 our of 8 matches so it came down to their head to head result - Crowning Elijah, the 2018 Champion.

Elijah played well throughout and had won 2 events at Hackney and Carlisle Park to qualify for the finals. He also came through a marathon match, winning 16-14 against Raphael Kuti in the finals. He had a winning attitude throughout the event and enjoyed the tennis.
