Middlesex Tennis Venue Loans: Growing Tennis in Middlesex  

‍Introduction

Middlesex Tennis is proud to support its members through a number of different avenues. After a short pause in 2020, Middlesex Tennis is pleased to relaunch the Middlesex Tennis Venue Loans programme. This programme is aimed at supporting registered Middlesex venues, to grow tennis and/or padel in Middlesex through capital development. We understand that whilst other funding partners are available with their own funding requirements and priority areas for funding, Middlesex Tennis Venue Loans are aimed at supporting venues in any capital project which supports the further development of tennis and padel.   

What will we fund?

Any capital project being developed at an LTA Registered Venue in Middlesex for the benefit of tennis and/or padel.
This includes upgrade of existing facilities, resurfacing projects etc. up to 75% of the project cost.  

What we won’t fund?

Routine maintenance projects, share holding companies, sole traders and coach-led schemes.

What funding is available?

Interest free loan funding available up to a maximum of £25,000. Repayment period of up to 7 years* – paid by standing order.

What do we require?

  • A completed application form.
  • Two years of most recent signed accounts.
  • Business plan outlining current position of the venue and the impact of the project.
  • Proof of security of tenure, minimum of 10 years will be required.
  • If approved, applicants will be required to sign a loan funding agreement.
  • No security, either by way of charge or restriction over land, nor by way of personal guarantors will be sought.
  • In some instances, Middlesex Tennis will seek additional conditions linked to funding, such as access to court time for competition, county training or meetings.
