Playing at the u8 County Cup was such a great experience for my daughter, representing the county was an honour and being part of a team brought great team spirit, comradery and excitement to the day.

Middlesex triumphed at the inaugural LTA 8U County Cup held at Bromley Tennis Centre. Playing against local South East Counties Kent, Surrey and Sussex it was great to bring the counties together at the youngest age group and give a positive experience of county team competition.

The girls have all been competing regularly at red and sponge ball over the past 12-18 months and their match experience showed with strong wins, only losing 1 rubber along the way.

With convincing wins over Surrey and Sussex, the boys were pushed harder in the singles by Kent going to 2-2. However Middlesex proved stronger in the doubles to seal the tie.
