Philip N & Luke R pushed for a win v Kent Doubles pair 2, taking it 12-10 in the tie break however Kent's number 1 doubles pair proved too strong and fell 2-4. The boys finished on a high with a 6-0 win v Essex to seal third place.

Group winners Kent, went on to win the National Title in Bath.

Girls

The girls team had a dream qualifying event sealing their tie's 6-0 to earn their finals place.

It was great to see the event at the NTC with Emma Raducanu's US Open trophy and bumping into top GB players including Katie Swan.

Finals Report:

Looking to better their Silver Medals from 2021, the girls and parents travelled to Bath University for the South Area Finals where they faced Avon, Berkshire, Hertfordshire & Warwickshire.

Facing tough competition, Middlesex produced early wins to lead 4-0 against Berkshire, Avon and Warwickshire and 3-1 against Hertfordshire after the singles. The doubles practice was highlighted with the players winning 7 out of the 8 doubles to seal the National title.

Off court, the girls gelled as a team and had a lot of fun in between matches and supporting their teammates compete.
