Fifty-seven coaches from across the County attended the launch of the Middlesex Tennis Coaches Network at David Lloyd Heston on 26th November 2019. The event was free to coaches living or delivering in the County.

Performance Manager Andrew Lewandowski presented on Awareness of standards in Mini Tennis Player. We explored the challenges facing developing strong 10U players, and ways to overcome them. We also looked at capabilities of players at 6/7/8/9/10 years old.

Disabilities/Inclusive Tennis LeadMark delivered an on-court session on the ‘inclusion spectrum’ exploring different ways that disabled people can engage in coaching, competition & club programmes. This was an interactive and fun session for coaches which aimed to remove barriers and alter a traditional perception of what tennis is in order to make tennis more inclusive.
